27" brown trout, my largest ever. It was the sub-dominant fish in its pool. After this, I hooked the bigger one, but I couldn't land it.

Going up to the Quake Lake visitor center.

The famous Reynolds Pass on the Madison River.

My good friend Brad the Afton Angler put me in position for this beautiful late summer steelhead.

My most grand catch of the summer, 20 golden inches, caught 1/4 of a mile from my summer work home. The fish took a size 8 girdle bug dead drifted.

My hex fishing partner.

The most beautiful resident rainbow that I have ever witnessed.
