The famous nocturnal Hex hatch of the Midwest (and a few other lucky locations) stirs to the surface mythically large brown trout that only touch streamers for the rest of the year.

27" brown trout, my largest ever. It was the sub-dominant fish in its pool. After this, I hooked the bigger one, but I couldn't land it.

Long story short: Troutnut.com respects your privacy and won't give out or sell your email address or other information to anyone, and we have a pretty secure database so it's not likely to be stolen.
