Tiny Baetis mayflies are perhaps the most commonly encountered and imitated by anglers on all American trout streams due to their great abundance, widespread distribution, and trout-friendly emergence habits.

This species was fairly abundant in a February sample of the upper Yakima.
27" brown trout, my largest ever. It was the sub-dominant fish in its pool. After this, I hooked the bigger one, but I couldn't land it.

I also have a 2 man Perception ABS kayak for sale. It is about 12' long has two seats that slide on rods and floatation material in the bow and stern. It is stored at my cabin on the WB of the Delaware and that is where it is staying until it is sold. Anyone interested PM me and I will provide a price and pictures when I go up next week. In other words if you want it you will have to come up and get it.
