Tiny Baetis mayflies are perhaps the most commonly encountered and imitated by anglers on all American trout streams due to their great abundance, widespread distribution, and trout-friendly emergence habits.

27" brown trout, my largest ever. It was the sub-dominant fish in its pool. After this, I hooked the bigger one, but I couldn't land it.

Just wondering if anyone might have any suggestions as to what hatches may be coming off of the rile river this upcoming weekend (sept 18) and what flies they might suggest. Thanks for any input.
