This dun emerged from a mature nymph on my desk. Unfortunately its wings didn't perfectly dry out.
27" brown trout, my largest ever. It was the sub-dominant fish in its pool. After this, I hooked the bigger one, but I couldn't land it.

Hello everyone,

First timer here,Great web site troutnut.
I have used troutnut many times to help me id insects on my local waters.Great pics bye the way.Its been a great help.The Little Elkhart River in Northern Indiana for trout and the St.Joe River for Smallmouth. This is the first time i have checked out the forum. Alot of info. from a lot of different people.
