The famous nocturnal Hex hatch of the Midwest (and a few other lucky locations) stirs to the surface mythically large brown trout that only touch streamers for the rest of the year.

This species was fairly abundant in a February sample of the upper Yakima.
27" brown trout, my largest ever. It was the sub-dominant fish in its pool. After this, I hooked the bigger one, but I couldn't land it.

I am looking for someone in area to fish with since right now I only have my son but he is ussually busy these days since he will be going to college in fall if I have gained your interest please check my profile and contact me I will gladly go with a beginner and teach what little I know or a veteran that I can learn from or someone like me and we can learn together
