Tiny Baetis mayflies are perhaps the most commonly encountered and imitated by anglers on all American trout streams due to their great abundance, widespread distribution, and trout-friendly emergence habits.
If you had acknowledged my response on your other post, I would have a bit more enthusiasm for attempting to identify your aquatic insect, for which you have neither provided a description nor posted a photo. If this response seems harsh, it's just because I put a lot of thought into the prior response for (seemingly) nothing.
