This seems to be a young larva of Limnephilus. Although not clear in the picture, several ventral abdominal segments have chloride epithelia.

anyone any do any fishing in Keene Valley area?? tons of beautiful little streams everywhere up there. I already know about the Au Sable. I got a chance to fish it in 2005. i would like to do some fishing there this spring some time when i get back home to good ole Long Lake. Logan
