Tiny Baetis mayflies are perhaps the most commonly encountered and imitated by anglers on all American trout streams due to their great abundance, widespread distribution, and trout-friendly emergence habits.
I am adding this topic to try and address Nanz' Q re: caddisfly. I have tried to add a modified photo labeling the m vein and the questionable area. I don't think the vein photos will allow us to be sure what genus this is.
