27" brown trout, my largest ever. It was the sub-dominant fish in its pool. After this, I hooked the bigger one, but I couldn't land it.

Biography & Thoughts

Im new at fly fishing. I was always a saltwater fisher. When I moved from alabama to RI I found fly fishing at a near by lake. My brother in law gave me his fly rod and a old beat up auto reel three years ago. The rod broke on a trip to New Hampshire a week after he gave it to me. I bought a st. Croix fly rod two years ago. And I haven't had any time to go fishing yet.
