Tiny Baetis mayflies are perhaps the most commonly encountered and imitated by anglers on all American trout streams due to their great abundance, widespread distribution, and trout-friendly emergence habits.

27" brown trout, my largest ever. It was the sub-dominant fish in its pool. After this, I hooked the bigger one, but I couldn't land it.

Biography & Thoughts
I have not fly fished in more than 20 yrs and even then I was not successful. I have some new family members that are avid fly fisherman and I am looking to go out with them, I Just want to be a part of the pack Just kidding, any excuse to spend time outside, and I don't mean doing yard work. Probably looking at river/lake trout to start. Hoping I enjoy it once I get setup and start doing it, just can't see how I wouldn't. Anyway, already learned a bunch from some very helpful people on this site and who knows, perhaps one day I can pass some knowledge on to others.
