The famous nocturnal Hex hatch of the Midwest (and a few other lucky locations) stirs to the surface mythically large brown trout that only touch streamers for the rest of the year.

Been tying Hendricksons for the last 2 weeks, and while we in the Catskills hope for warming water and await their arrival I started on March Browns. Here are the first 2 of the batch. Nothing special, just a good old generic imitation.
