The famous nocturnal Hex hatch of the Midwest (and a few other lucky locations) stirs to the surface mythically large brown trout that only touch streamers for the rest of the year.

Well, perhaps just a few minutes of fame. The Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art is holding a festival the last Saturday in July and they need fly tyers for demonstrations.
