Tiny Baetis mayflies are perhaps the most commonly encountered and imitated by anglers on all American trout streams due to their great abundance, widespread distribution, and trout-friendly emergence habits.
I collected this female together with a male.
This mayfly was collected from the West Branch of Owego Creek in New York on August 9th, 2006 and added to Troutnut.com by Troutnut on August 11th, 2006.
