Baetis

Tiny Baetis mayflies are perhaps the most commonly encountered and imitated by anglers on all American trout streams due to their great abundance, widespread distribution, and trout-friendly emergence habits.

27" brown trout, my largest ever. It was the sub-dominant fish in its pool. After this, I hooked the bigger one, but I couldn't land it.

Biography & Thoughts
I have been fly fishing for 10 years now, and it is my main passion to fishing. I have recently gotten back into reel fishing but the passion for flies I will never shake. I am not a purist by any means, but I love to use dry flies. Not a huge fan of Bamboo rods, but wouldn't turn one down if I could afford them!!
