Hexagenia limbata
The famous nocturnal Hex hatch of the Midwest (and a few other lucky locations) stirs to the surface mythically large brown trout that only touch streamers for the rest of the year.

This seems to be a young larva of Limnephilus. Although not clear in the picture, several ventral abdominal segments have chloride epithelia.

I love fishing...born with it running through my veins. I love tying and testing every pattern I create. I'm a girly girl 100% but I will out fish the guys lol .
