27" brown trout, my largest ever. It was the sub-dominant fish in its pool. After this, I hooked the bigger one, but I couldn't land it.

My guess would be Psilotreta or another Odontocerid.

I think Psilotreta is a safe bet. As to whether it's labida or frontalis, I can't say.
