Tiny Baetis mayflies are perhaps the most commonly encountered and imitated by anglers on all American trout streams due to their great abundance, widespread distribution, and trout-friendly emergence habits.
Every picture of this Psephenidae larva was taken with my old C740UZ through a microscope.
This beetle was collected from Fall Creek in New York on November 15th, 2004 and added to Troutnut.com by Troutnut on April 12th, 2006.
