Troutnut is a project started in 2003 by salmonid ecologist Jason "Troutnut" Neuswanger to help anglers and fly tyers unabashedly embrace the entomological side of the sport. Learn more about Troutnut or support the project for an enhanced experience here.

About Dneuswanger (Dave Neuswanger): Approximately 34 years ago, my wife and I spawned a Troutnut. We're quite impressed with this new species, so we check in on his website now and then to see how things are going :-)
