Tiny Baetis mayflies are perhaps the most commonly encountered and imitated by anglers on all American trout streams due to their great abundance, widespread distribution, and trout-friendly emergence habits.
This is probably the most common lake mayfly in western Montana. It can be found with one or more species of Caenis.
This mayfly was collected from Many Lakes in Montana on July 5th, 2007 and added to Troutnut.com by Bnewell on June 26th, 2011.
